Construction Royal Filter coalescer cartridges are offered in a variety of cartridge configurations to replace current industry cartridges.   They are available in open ends with flat gaskets, open ends with o-ring seals, and thread base construction.  Cartridges are available in a number of different diameters and lengths.  All Royal Filter coalescers are single piece construction, resulting in increased strength and reducing the chance of bypass.  We use a combination of one or more layers of pleated media and various layers of fiberglass.   The pleated media removes the bulk of solids.  Coalescing performance is determined by the type and number of layers of fiberglass.

Coalescer Series Description      Royal Coalescers are available in four different series or efficiencies.  These ratings are nominal and should be used for reference only. Our 25 Series coalescer is rated at 25 micron and is normally used on fuels such as diesel or heating oils. The 5 series coalescer is rated at 5 micron and is used in place of the 25 series when more efficiency or tighter filtration is desired.  These coalescers are also used in gas applications. The 2 series is rated at 2 micron.  It is normally used for lighter hydrocarbons such as jet fuel, kerosene, gasoline, or naphtha. The 1 series is rated at 1/2 micron and is designed for maximum coalescing and particulate removal efficiency.
